HART CONTRACTING, INC. REACHES MIDWAY POINT ON
HOUSING AUTHORITY REHAB PROJECT
ALTON, IL -- (MAY 2, 2005) -- Hart Contracting, Inc. is halfway through the renovation of Cochran Plaza, a six building, two level apartment community at the intersection of 9th and Cass just north of Downtown St. Louis. The modifications to Cochran Plaza’s 24 residential units are the fourth project Hart Contracting has taken on for the St. Louis Housing Authority.
“We are pleased to be a part of the re-emergence of downtown St. Louis,” said Hank Hart, General Manager of Hart Contracting, Inc. “There is a great deal of history in this particular area in terms of people, events and the structure itself. It is our intent to make the renovated Cochran Plaza apartments a wonderful place to live and an important piece of that history going forward.”
Kennedy Associates Incorporated (KAI) is the architect for the project. Completion of the $3.8 million renovation project is expected by late fall 2005.
